직렬 리액터 / Series Reactors

직렬 리액터(SR)는 전기 기기와 직렬로 연결되어 이를 통과하는 전류를 감소시키는 장치입니다. 일반적으로 선행 커패시터와 함께 설치되며, 주된 역할은 돌입 전류와 고조파를 억제하는 것입니다.

커패시터만 사용할 경우 공진으로 인한 고조파 증폭 위험이 있습니다. 직렬 리액터를 설치하면 공진을 방지하여 고조파를 효과적으로 완화하고 안정적인 전력 시스템 작동을 보장할 수 있습니다.

A series reactor (SR) is a piece of equipment that is connected in series with an electrical device to reduce the current flowing through it. It is usually installed in conjunction with a leading capacitor, and its main role is to suppress inrush currents and harmonics.

If capacitors alone are used, there is a risk of harmonic amplification due to resonance. By installing a series reactor, you can prevent resonance, effectively mitigating harmonics and ensuring stable electrical system operation.

(Note that using L=13% increases the terminal voltage of the capacitor by 115%, so the rated voltage must be considered).
